If you love moist and slightly sweet deserts with the aromatic tase of green tea, these Matcha Green Tea Snowballs are going to be your go to mid-evening treats!
Soften your butter in a microwave or a stove. Using a whisk or a fork, blend together the brown sugar and butter until fluffy.
Mix the egg and salt into the butter mixture, until it is evenly distributed. In a separate bowl mix together the flour, baking soda and matcha powder until evenly spread.
Pour in the aromatic flour/baking soda/matcha combo to your butter mixture and mix them together so it looks equally greenish through out. Keep your sugar separately in a bowl.
Use a small cookie scoop/or your hand, scoop the cookie batter into even portions of golf balls. Roll into the confectioner’s sugar until well coated.
Place the snow golf balls on the baking sheet/pan, about 1 inch apart. Bake for 15 minutes
Remove from oven and immediately transfer to a wire rack or to a plate. Allow the Matcha Green Tea Snowballs to completely cool. Store in an airtight container in case of any leftovers.
